HPV Gardasil Vaccine Proves Lethal-- How Many MORE Dead Since Then?

I found this video on youtube while doing some research for a question on one of my stay at home mother's group forums, and it makes me think a good deal. My biggest thought of all of them is this: the video was done more than a year ago. How many more perfectly healthy children has this useless vaccine crippled or outright killed since then?

Public Education, Public Scandal.

I hadn't planned on writing anything more for today, but I made the mistake of checking out Google news and came across an article that not only pissed me off to no end, but also further cemented my decision to homeschool my child(ren).

For those that can't be bothered with clicking links or reading sources, I'll explain the news article simply: teachers and students have been caught in many schools cheating on tests so that they can pass muster against the so-called "No Child Left Behind" laws. Not only that, but there are incidences of school administrations "encouraging" teachers to put poorly performing students near better performing ones (so that they might cheat) and even reports of threatening-- up to and including terminating employment-- if their class grades didn't improve.

It's a sad state of affairs American schools are in, isn't it? How can we as parents safely believe that our children will attain the best possible education in public schooling with things of this magnitude going on?

I see two possible solutions to school- and state-wide cheating.

The first?

Get rid of "No Child Left Behind". It's an asinine law that's clearly not working, especially if teachers are being forced to let their students cheat and kids are learning the invaluable lesson of "anything to make the grade". It's not setting a good precedent for a single one of them. How are these children going to manage to work, never mind go through college, when their best example is one of blatantly lying and cheating?

My second and personal solution is simple: teach them yourself. I remember going through school throughout the 80s and 90s, and throughout I felt as though I was learning very little. It seemed to me that the bulk of our "schooling" was a simple repetition of the same things learned in the year past, especially were it concerned things such as history or science. Not only that, but budgets were cut often in the realm of education on a yearly basis, the reason for this being the taxpayers didn't want to spend money on children's education when they didn't have kids themselves.

Given my personal experience and the obviously failing public school systems, why would I even consider sending my own children out to be educated like this?

Most parents undoubtedly want the same things as I do. I'd like to see my children grow up smart, healthy, and educated, learning such skills as teamwork, practical problem-solving, and self-sufficiency. It doesn't seem to me that any of these things are accomplished through public schooling, and the fact of the matter is that in these tough economic times few can afford to send their kids to a private school costing upwards of tens of thousands of dollars a year.

I think it's a safe bet that people need to start taking a look at this law and see to it being repealed. It's doing nothing to help our children, regardless of race, class, or social status. All it can ever do is hurt them.

And to those of you that want to continue to cut the budgets of your local education system: see what it's gotten us? You reap what you sow.

The children of today are the lawyers, doctors, and politicians of tomorrow.

The Abortion Debate-- There IS No Debate.

Abortion is one of those hot-button topics that's bound to spark controversy no matter the venue. I know I personally have been sucked into just such debates on numerous occasion. The fact of the matter is that everyone has their opinions.

Truthfully, though, how many of those opinions are based on simple fact?

I used to be one of those women that considered myself personally pro-life, but believed in the rights of other women to make their own decisions. I've come to realize over the course of time how completely backward that view is.

Rather than write my own little bit as to the reasons why I've come to feel this way, I'll put it straight with this:

This woman is, in my opinion, absolutely correct. I couldn't have said it better myself. Why, in fact, try to stop ANY of the world's injustices when "people are going to do it anyway"?

The fact of the matter is that abortion is simply that: murder. I don't need some priest on a pulpit to tell me it, either; left alone, the human baby will grow in remarkable ways, and does so from conception.

  • By week four- before a woman has even noticed a missed period- the developing baby will have implanted itself into the wall of the uterus, no longer floating freely in the womb.
  • Around the sixth week, the developing baby has a heartbeat and is growing an umbilical cord, as well as both eyes and ears.
  • At eight weeks gestation, babies are growing arms and legs with noticeable places for fingers and toes. They are also developing intestines and teeth under the gums.
  • By the tenth week, the baby is fully capable of moving on its own, although the movements are too tiny for the mother to notice. Most of the major joints in the baby's body have been developed by this point.
  • Near the end of the first trimester (twelve weeks), a baby's organs and body structures are nearly completely formed. Fingers and toes are separated and clearly visible, and hair and nails are also beginning to grow.
These are all documented FACTS about the growth of a baby in utero, and that's just the first trimester-- a time period in which most states will allow any woman to have a legal abortion. I'm sure many don't even stop to think about all the changes that are taking place within these tiny beings when they decide to murder them.

That's right. I said the dreaded word, and I'll say it again.

Abortion at ANY stage of pregnancy is murder, plain and simple.

Saying "If I CHOSE to continue the pregnancy (read: let my baby live), it WOULD EVENTUALLY develop into a baby", "I just can't afford to raise a child right now", and "It's my body, and I'll do what I want with it" is complete bull. Nothing but platitudes.

Women, keep telling yourself that you have no choice.

Keep justifying your decision because it's your body.

Keep fooling yourself into thinking that you're "doing what's best" for yourself or your growing child.

Keep on killing your babies.

There is no debate about abortion. If you practice it, that's exactly what you're doing.

Learning things.

I've been in my spare time, such as it is, doing a lot of research into the New World Order and politics in general, and I'd have to say I find it very discouraging overall. I got into a politics talk with Derek over pidgin the other day, and it's got me so that I'm looking up even more stuff, wanting to find out more. At the same time, though, it almost feels like I'd prefer to bury my head in the sand. Some-- well, actually, ALL-- of this is pretty scary stuff. The government is taking more and more of our civil liberties, and the American people are just sitting back, taking it straight in the ass with a smile and nod.

Recently, I read about a fifteen year old girl who is being tried in court for willful homicide of her unborn child, because it's "alleged" that her cocaine use during pregnancy directly contributed to her child's stillbirth at 32 weeks gestation.

I read about a family with five children that had all of their kids taken away because they were living on a property without electricity and indoor plumbing, among other faulty reasons.

I read about a family in the UK that's being forced off their property because they built their house "off the grid", supposedly violating zoning laws.

I read about the US government's desire to ban naturopathy, including home remedies, vitamins, growing your own food, organic food bought in stores and at farmstands, and innumerable other things.
The US present wants to force every single man, woman, and child in the country into paying for healthcare when we can hardly afford to eat, with the rising costs of things such as fuel, shelter, and food.
I don't know whatever happened to The Land of the Free...

The whole thing is downright frightening.

I'm fearing for a whole lot more than I ever used to now. Trivial things like where we're going to live, Kenny getting a job that makes a decent, livable wage, and who's going to take my cat are, frankly, unimportant.

Now I worry about more important things, more global things.

  • I worry about homeschooling Richie, and wonder that Florida might not be a good place for us to stay if we'd like to continue with our program. Florida's homeschooling rules are far more stringent than in many other states, so if I choose not to follow them, will that give the state the grounds to take away my child? Kenny says to "play their game", but I hate the thought of doing that. At the same time, I hate the thought of losing my child with my whole being.
  • We've been talking and planning about living in a camper of some kind for a goodly while now. If it's without hot water readily available or electricity, will THAT be the grounds for them to take my child, just like the family in Texas?
  • What if we don't manage even a camper and have to live in the car for a while? Would that not be infinitely worse, and give them these grounds?

...it goes on and on, really. There are so many what-ifs that I don't know the answers to, but it makes me worry for my family, for my child, and for every future child I have. The answer, of course, is to speak out against the government and try to affect some sort of change, to fight for a better future and for freedom. But even that scares me.

It's one of those things that won't go away. There's noting really that I can do about it other than try to open up the eyes of people that are too stupid or blind to see.
